Look Up Tables

 

Core headings and wording throughout CARM are held here e.g. what Notice options are available to users when they have cancelled a rest day or what maybe called a Roster Group (Group, Team or Unit).

 

Select System Maintenance > Look Up Tables

 

 

·         Select Look Up needed to change details for e.g. Extra Pay Rates.

·         Select option needed to change e.g. Unpaid Overtime

·         Change the Title or Caption to that required e.g. Unpaid Overtime,

·         Add Notes for reference in the box provided e.g. a reason for the change.

·         Click Submit.

 

A Personnel Dates lookup table entry with a caption text of 0 allows for a simple date only to be recorded against that type.  A lookup table entry with a caption text of 1 allows for a date, a diary date and an optional completion date to be recorded against that type.

 

If you change the text in any Look Up option, this will apply for all users. If in doubt, please contact the CARM Helpdesk.

Some lookup options are for historical purposes i.e. to maintain entries from previous versions of CARM and will be phased out during future issues.

There are some lookup tables that must not be changed by the user as CARM is dependent upon the values in them. These are suppressed such that the user cannot change them.
