Skills
Create new skill groups and skills so they can be applied to people through Personnel Maintenance (Person Skills) after completion of courses or exams.
Skills are formed into Groups for ease of use e.g. Standard Driving Levels 1 and 2 will fall into a Driving Skill Group.
If the required Group does not exist, create the Skill Group. If the required Skill Group already exists, see Creating a Skill below.
Select General Maintenance > Skills
· Select Click here to insert new group from the Group drop down.
· Enter Skill Group title.
· Enter Skill Group caption.
· Click Insert.
Select General Maintenance > Skills.
· Select Group the skill belongs to from the drop down.
· Select Click here to insert new skill.
· Enter Skill title.
· Enter Skill caption.
· Select Number of months prior to expiry date to issue warnings as required.
· Click Show in Daily Duties Enquiry check box if required
· Click Insert.
Select General Maintenance > Skills.
· Select Group the skill belongs to from the drop down.
· Select Skill to be made Redundant.
· Click Redundant check box.
· Click Update.
· Click Redundant Skill to return to Skills list.
Select General Maintenance > Skills.
· Select Group the skill belongs to from the drop down.
· Select Skill to be made Deleted.
· Click Delete.
